About this policy

TruePath Vision provides security monitoring, camera management, incident alerts, and related tools to organizations. This policy describes information handled through our application and services. When an organization uses TruePath Vision to process camera footage or other records, that organization determines the purposes of that processing. Contact the organization responsible for the property for questions about its monitoring practices.

Information we process

  • Account information: names, email addresses, organization membership, roles, notification preferences, and authentication information.
  • Service information: camera images and video, incident records, alerts, property and camera locations, and registry or investigation records, depending on the features your organization uses. These records may include identifiable people and, where enabled, information used for recognition or matching.
  • Usage and technical information: access and audit logs, browser and device information, IP addresses, and information needed to diagnose errors and protect the service.
  • Communications: information you provide when requesting support or communicating with us.

How information is used

We use information to authenticate users, manage access, provide monitoring and incident workflows, deliver notifications, respond to support requests, maintain and improve the service, investigate misuse, and meet applicable legal obligations.

Google and other sign-in providers

If you choose Google or Microsoft sign-in, we receive authentication information and basic account information, such as your name, email address, and account identifier, to sign you in and associate you with your TruePath Vision account. The sign-in provider also processes information under its own privacy policy.

When information is shared

Information is available to authorized users according to their organization's access settings. We use service providers for functions such as cloud hosting, authentication, and email delivery. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when necessary to investigate abuse or protect the rights, safety, or security of our users and services.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser storage to maintain authenticated sessions, remember settings such as selected properties and display preferences, and support application functionality. You can manage cookies in your browser; blocking them may prevent sign-in or other features from working.

Retention and security

Retention depends on the type of information, the organization's service configuration and agreements, operational needs, and applicable legal requirements. We use authentication and access controls to protect information. No method of transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and requests

You can update available account settings within the application. For requests to access, correct, or delete personal information, contact your organization or email us below. Available rights and how a request is handled depend on applicable law and whether we or your organization control the relevant information. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or practices change. The date above identifies the most recent update.
